MOTOmed loop kidz.la children's leg and arm trainer
MOTOmed loop kidz.la children's leg and arm trainer: passive movement reduces tone in spasticity, the motor helps even with weak muscles.
Description
MOTOmed loop kidz.la (RECK, Germany) is the children's and teenagers' version of the MOTOmed loop. The child trains from their own wheelchair, seat shell or a chair: actively, with motor assistance or fully passively, depending on how they are that day.
Passive movement can reduce muscle tone in spasticity and prevents muscle shortening and contractures. The motor supports the movement even with the smallest residual strength, so the child moves by themselves and sees the result on screen. Games and cartoons on the touch screen turn exercise into play.
