Frame Runner

Frame Runner (Ormesa, Italy) is a running and walking device for children and adults with motor and coordination impairments. The user sits on a saddle with the chest resting on a soft support, and moves by pushing off the ground with the feet while steering with the hands. There are no pedals: it is the stepping movement that does the work.

The light three-wheel frame gives stability and safety, so the Frame Runner is good for relaxed walks, training and competitions (RaceRunning is a para-sport in many countries). The effort trains muscles, heart and breathing, and builds coordination and independence.
