MOTOmed loop.la leg and arm trainer
MOTOmed loop.la leg and arm trainer: passive, motor-assisted and active exercise from a wheelchair or chair, with spasm protection.
Description
MOTOmed loop.la (RECK, Germany) is a leg and arm/upper body trainer you can use straight from a wheelchair, a chair or a seat shell. The motor turns the pedals for the user, assists them or gives resistance, depending on how much strength they have today.
Passive movement reduces muscle tone in spasticity, prevents muscle shortening and contractures and improves circulation. ServoCycling helps the user move even with the smallest residual strength, while MovementProtector and SpasmControl gently stop the pedals during a spasm and reverse the direction until it releases.
