GRILLO PT Front Drive gait trainer
GRILLO gait trainer with a front frame: pelvic and trunk support, light aluminium frame, height adjustment with the child inside.
Description
GRILLO is a gait trainer by Ormesa (Italy) for children and adults who cannot walk on their own or walk unsteadily. Independent pelvic and trunk supports hold the body upright and take weight off the legs, while the child learns to step by themselves at home, in the yard and at school.
The light aluminium frame is easy to push and turn, even with weak arms and poor balance. The height can be changed with the child inside without shifting the centre of gravity, so the trainer grows with the child for years. The frame folds for transport and for storage in a small flat.
Key features
- PT version with a front frame: the child sees the way ahead and leans forward
- Pelvic support adjustable in height, angle and circumference; trunk support
- Wheels with brakes and direction locks
- Extras: distal abductor, forearm supports, carer handle
- Folds in one move without removing the supports; gas-spring height adjustment
