MOTOmed layson.la bed-side leg and arm trainer
MOTOmed layson.la bed-side leg or arm trainer for bed-bound patients in intensive care, early rehabilitation and at home.
Description
MOTOmed layson.la (RECK, Germany) is a trainer for people who cannot sit up yet: it is wheeled to the bed and the user exercises lying down. Passive, motor-assisted and active movement of the legs, or of the arms and upper body, can start in intensive care and early rehabilitation, when every week without movement costs muscle and joint function.
Free-swivelling castors and an optional expandable chassis put the trainer next to any bed quickly, and a central 4-point floor lock keeps it stable. TrainCare leg guides hold the legs securely and prevent the knees from overstretching or locking; knee and hip bending can be adjusted even during training.
